Mar 1, 2017 - last post

Sorry folks, Milford Sound will be my last post.  There doesn't seem to be many of you that are following me and the internet on the ship is very, very, very slow and it takes me hours to post pictures on this blog.  Going forward I will post a few pictures on Facebook.
If at a later point the internet gets better, or if I have more patience I will put up more posts.

Feb 28, 2017 Milford Sound, New Zealand

Where we are and where we're going.
Milford Sound, or as it should be called Milford Fiord is 15 km long and mostly less than 1 km wide.
Mitre Peak (Rahotu) is the spectacular 1692 m high mountain rising from the waters of Milford Sound.  There is a glacier that feeds the many streams and waterfalls along the fiord.
