Feb 24, 2017 Wellington, New Zealand

Where we are and where we're going.

Scenery along way into port.

Our escorts into town.

Ferry boats that run along the coast of New Zealand.

Architecture around town.

Old Saint Paul's.  Used to be an active church, it's now a historical memorial.  Made all out of wood.  Brick doesn't "bend" like wood does in earthquakes.

The "Honeycomb".

Advertising poster in cable car station.

Views of the city from the top cable car station.

Sculpture at entrance to the Lady Norwood rose garden, part of Wellington Botanical Garden.

Just some of the thousands of different roses in the rose garden.

More sights of the city.

400 volts of electricity is used to power these suckers.

Private trams to get to houses on the hill.

Admiral Richard Byrd's memorial on top of Mount Victoria.

More sights from Mount Victoria.

Our tour bus.
A female from the former Yugoslavia, who lives in Canada is drinking a bottle of spring water from Spain in Wellington New Zealand.  It's a small world after all.

More views coming down from Mount Victoria.

Roman Catholic cathedral.

Tallest building in Wellington.
